AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
SUBSECTIONS D AND H OF SECTION 7 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA, PERTAINING TO SIGNS.
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Subsections D and H of Section 7 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be amended as follows:
Section 7:
D. SIGNS PERMITTED WITHOUT A PERMIT
By adding the following:
8. Political signs at a polling place for a
period not to exceed twenty-four (24) hours.
H. PROCEDURE AND FEES FOR SIGN PERMITS

b. By deleting "two (2) square feet" and
substituting "three (3) square feet".
c. Add "political signs shall be charged at
the rate of five dollars ($5.00) for
twelve (12) signs over three (3) square
feet but not exceeding sixteen (16) square
feet per sign 'plus one dollar ($1.00) for
each additional sign.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage.
