AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 3.17
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIR-
GINIA, TO DESIGNATE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AS
THE PROPER OFFICIAL TO RECEIVE SITE PLANS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that Section 3.17 of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be amended and re-enacted to
read in its entirety as follows:
"3.17 Development or Land Use Requiring a Site Plan.
A plan of development or site plan shall be filed by an
owner or developer of property and must be approved by the
Director of Public Works in each of the following instances:
a. Any use or development of property located in any
zoning district other than R-l, R-2 and R-3.
b. Any use requiring a Special Use Permit in R-l, R-2
and R-3 zoning districts.
c. No site plan approval shall be required for any
temporary public use when such use does not exceed
thirty days."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia.
