AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 3.171
OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIR-
GINIA, TO DESIGNATE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
APPROVE SITE PLANS BEFORE BUILDING PERMITS OR CERTI-
FICATES OF OCCUPANCY ARE ISSUED
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that Section 3.171 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be amended and re-enacted
to read in its entirety as follows:
"3.171 No building permit or certificate of occupancy shall
be issued until the required site plan of the proposed
use or development shall have been approved by the
Director of Public Works as the City official with
responsibility for processing site plans."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
