AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1966-8,
ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 6, 1966, DECLARING A WATER
SUPPLY EMERGENCY TO EXIST AND IMPOSING CERTAIN
RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF CITY WATER.
The City Council of the City of Fairfax hereby ORDAINS
as follows:
1. An emergency existing prior to September 6, 1966,
caused by the shortage of water in the City's impoundment area
and supply system, has been relieved by general rainfall in the
area.
2. Emergency restrictions upon the use of water are
hereby lifted, and Ordinance No. 1966-8 is hereby repealed in
its entirety.
3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
ADOPTED: 10:00 p. m., September 27, 1966.
