AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF
SECTION 13-252 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE TAX
ON MOTOR VEHICLES, TRAILERS AND SEMI-TRAILERS
FROM TEN DOLLARS TO FIVE DOLLARS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX HEREBY ORDAINS:
That Section 13-252 of the Fairfax City Code is hereby amended
as follows:
1. Delete "prorating of amount" from the title.
2. Delete "ten dollars" in the first sentence and insert "five
dollars" in lieu thereof.
3. Delete the last sentence and insert "Such license tax shall
not be prorated."
This ordinance shall become effective for the license year
which commences on April 1, 1967.
