AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN SPEED
LIMITS ON A SECTION OF MAIN STREET IN THE
CITY OF FAIRFAX
The city Council hereby ordains:
1. That the speed limit on eastbound and westbound
Main Street between Route 237 and Roberts Road be and it hereby
is fixed at 25 miles per hour.
2. The aforesaid speed limit shall take effect
immediately upon the adoption of this ordinance and the
erection or location of appropriate signs or markers. The
city Manager is hereby directed to erect or locate adequate
and appropriate signs or markers forthwith.
3. Any person violating any provision of this ordin-
ance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction there-
of shall be punished according to law.
