A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA,
THE METRO MATTERS FUNDING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN MEMBER JURISDICTIONS AND
THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT
AUTHORITY
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia at its regular City Council meeting on September 28, 2004, to
hereby adopt the Metro Matters Funding Agreement between Member
Jurisdictions and The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, to hereby authorize the Mayor
to sign said Agreement on behalf of the City of Fairfax, including any
amendments thereto, provided that the Agreement and the amendments
are acceptable to the City Manager and approved as to form by the City
Attorney.
