A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF THE CONDEMNATION OF
APPROXIMATELY 4.541 ACRES OF PROPERTY HAVING AN ADDRESS OF 9985
LEE HIGHWAY, TAX MAP NUMBER 48-3-((2))-020, OWNED BY REBEL RUN, LLC,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,350,000.00
WHEREAS, on May 28, 2002, the City Council authorized the condemnation of a
certain property having an address of 9985 Lee Highway, which property is owned by Rebel
Run, LLC, for open space and a public park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax and Rebel Run, LLC, have conducted settlement
negotiations regarding the condemnation, and Rebel Run, LLC, has agreed to settle this
matter for $1,350,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax
that the condemnation of a certain property having an address of 9985 Lee Highway, which
property is owned by Rebel Run, LLC, for public park and open spaces purposes is hereby
settled in the amount of $1,350,000.
