RESOLUTION NO. R-02-26
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE AN APPLICATION
FOR FEDERAL GRANT FUNDS 1N ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
DEFENSE AND EMERGENCY SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS BILL (H.R. 3338)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia that our
designated agent, City Manager Robert L. Sisson is hereby authorized to execute and submit
on behalf of the City of Fairfax, a public entity established under the laws of the
Commonwealth of Virginia an application to the United States Department of Justice for grant
funds designated for the City of Fairfax under H.R. 3338.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Fairfax authorizes its agent to act in
connection with said application, to provide additional information as may be required for the
application and to ensure that the City of Fairfax, Virginia complies with the standard
assurances listed in the grant application.
