A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, THE COORDINATED RAIL CAR
PROCUREMENT FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN MEMBER
JURISDICTIONS AND THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA
TRANSIT AUTHORITY FOR THE FUNDING FO SERVICE GROWTH RAIL CARS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, at its regular
meeting on June 18, 2002, to hereby adopt the Coordinated Rail Car Procurement Funding
Agreement between Member Jurisdictions and The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit
Authority for the Funding of Service Growth Rail Cars; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, to hereby authorize the Mayor to sign said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Fairfax, provided all amendments to the Agreement are
acceptable to the City Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney.
