PETER, III, PRESIDENT, FIRST ATLANTIC PROPERTIES COMPANY, TO AMEND AND REORDAIN THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP TO RECLASSIFY FROM R-2 TO C-2 WITH ~ROFFERS PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10507 ORCHARD STREET AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRI- BED AS TAX MAP PARCEL 57-2-((8))-11 WITH PROFFERS AND TO RECLASSIFY FROM C-2 TO C-2 WITH PROFFERS PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10505 ORCHARD STREET, AND 3570, 3580 & 3590 CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS TAX MAP PARCELS 57-2-((2))-17, 18, 19 & 20. WHEREAS, Walter P. Peter, III, President, has submitted application No. Z-722-87-1 requesting a rezoning from R-2 to C-2 for a parcel of land, con- sisting of 0.511 acres located at 10507 Orchard Street; and requesting a re- zoning from C-2 to C-2 with proffers on parcels of land consisting of 2.273 acres located at 10505 Orchard Street and 3570, 3580 and 3590 Chain Bridge Road WHEREAS, City Council has carefully considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission and the staff and testimony received at public hearing; and WHEREAS, City Council has determined that the proposed zoning is not appro- priate for the location; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, on this 31st day of.
