SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY FOR SCHOOL BOARD CHAIRMAN
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 80, Paragraph C, authorizes additional compensa-
tion for the School Board Chairman, up to $500 annually.
WHEREAS, the Fairfax City School FY 87 Budget provides for such compensa-
tion; and
WHEREAS, the Fairfax City School Board at its August 25th meeting granted
a $500 a year supplement for its Chairman, dependent upon Council approval.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Fairfax City Council grants approval for
the Chairman of the Fairfax City School Board to receive a supplement of $500
annually.
