A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA,
APPLAUDING THE CITY STAFF UPON THE SUCCESS OF THE FIRST ANNUAL
FAIRFAX CITY FORUM.
WHEREAS, The recent Fairfax City Forum was a successful attempt
to provide a valuable educational opportunity for the citi-
zens to become more familiar with the operations of City
Hall and its various departments;
WHEREAS, the first annual Fairfax City Forum was considered a
tremendous success by this City Council;
WHEREAS, the efforts of the City staff and the various boards and
commissions who contributed could be directly attributed to
the overall success of the City function;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council publicly ap-
plaudes the efforts of the City staff for their time and
energy devoted to insuring the success of the first annual
Fairfax City Forum and is grateful to those individuals who
volunteered their time to man the various booths on site at
Fairfax High School.
Adopted by City Council at its regular meeting held on this,
the 22nd day of February, 1983.
