REAPPROPRIATION OF GENERAL, CAPTIAL, AND ENTERPRISE
FUNDS TO FY 2026
WHEREAS, each year City staff presents to the City Council a list of general/operating,
capital, and enterprise funds and a recommendation as to whether or not those funds should be
reappropriated; and
WHEREAS, this situation occurs when funds are either 1) appropriated, but as of the end of
the fiscal year have not been spent or obligated or 2) a purchase order was issued but not fully
expended and the remaining encumbrance balance should carryover to the new fiscal year;
and
WHEREAS, an updated estimate for the FY 2026 General Fund Fund Balance reflects that
these funds would be reappropriated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the attached list of
general/operating, capital, and enterprise funds shall be reappropriated to FY 2026.
