R-25-06RESOLUTION NO. R-25-06 A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR CONTINUATION OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL UPON A FINDING AND DECLARATION THAT WEATHER OR OTHER CONDITIONS ARE SUCH THAT IT IS HAZARDOUS FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND THE REGULAR MEETING AS ADVERTISED BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that, upon a finding and determination by the Mayor, or individual authorized to act in the absence or unavailability of the Mayor, after making best efforts to consult with individual Council members, that weather or other conditions are such that it is hazardous for members to attend a regular meeting of the City Council, such meeting shall be continued to the next regular meeting of the City Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any such finding and declaration shall be communicated to the members, the press, and to the general public as promptly as possible. All hearings and other matters previously advertised shall be conducted at the continued meeting and not further advertisement of such matters shall be required, absent a superseding requirement under applicable law.
