RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
is empowered by its Charter to elect a bailing justice for
said city in its discretion; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
deems it necessary and desirable to appoint a bailing justice;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia, in lawful meeting assembled, that
Lawrence A. Munday be elected bailing justice for the City
of Fairfax, Virginia, with authority to perform all the duties
and acts conferred upon said bailing justice by Section 10. 11
of the Charter of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, on the condi-
tion that he shall take the oath prescribed by law and give
bond in the penalty of $1 ,000.00 conditioned according to law
to be approved by the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
with corporate surety.
Passed by the Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
this 2nd day of October, 1963.
