AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 98, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 98 -215 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, BY ADDING THERETO A
NEW SUBSECTION (16), ESTABLISHING A PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT FOR A
PORTION OF PINEHURST AVENUE
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 98 -209 of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia (the "City Code "), the City Manager has reviewed the criteria for establishing a
permit parking district along a portion of Pinehurst Avenue, and has recommended the
establishment of a permit parking district as set forth in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, following the required public hearing, the City Council finds that the
requirements of Chapter 98, Article IV, have been met.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that Chapter 98, Article IV, Section 98 -215 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia is hereby amended to add a new subsection (16), to read in its entirety as
follows:
"(16) On Pinehurst Avenue (9928- 9937), beginning at its
intersection with Brookwood Drive and ending at its
intersection with Andover Drive."
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
