A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PAR:KING LOT LEASE AGREElVIENT
BET""EEN THE CITY AND THE BUSINESS INVESTJVl:ENT GROUP. LLC.
FOR THE LEASE OF APPROXIJVl:ATELY 46 PAR:KING SPACES LOCATED
AT THE INTERSECTION OF SAGER AVENUE AND UNIVERSITY DRIVE.
"VVI-IEREAS", the City has determined that there continues to be a public need ror
additional public parking in the Old TOV\Tll Fairfax area; and
'VVHEREAS". The Business Investment Group". LLC ("''''BIO'''')". O"VVT1S a parking lot
consisting of approximately 46 spaces located at the intersection of Sager Avenue and
University Drive". and BIG- desires to continue leasing to the City, a.J:1d the City desires to
continue leasing from BIG". the parking lot for the first of ten(lO) additional one(l)-year
extensions,. commencing on July 1,. 2007 through June 30". 2008". provided that eit:her party
may terminate the lease during any of the rene'-Val terms upon 6 months V'V"ritten notice to t:he
other party prior to the expiration of the then-current lease year.
NO"". THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax that a Parking Lot Lease Extension betvveen the City and The Business Investment
Group", LLC", commencing on July 1 '" 2007 through June 30", 2008 is hereby approved", and the
City :M:anager is authorized to execute such extension on behalf or the City.
