ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL

There is hereby adopted a policy to implement techr1ical provisions relat.ing to the
construction of public facilities titled the City of Fairfax Public Facilities rvt:a.1T'--1.al ("PI.;'!\/f~"),
prepared by Appian Consulting Engineers of Rocky J\.I[ountain, North Carolina and dated J"une
2005, and as hereafter amended from time to time.

V\Therever the regulations, restrictions, limitations, or requirements in this chapter

Sec. 86-12. Effect of chapter on other provisions of this Code.
Except as expressly provided, this chapter shall not be deemed to repeal or modify or
otherwise affect in any manner any provision of this Code or other ordinance, resolution, rule
or regulation ofthe city, provided that wherever this chapter imposes more stringent
regulations, restrictions, limitations, or requirements, the provisions of this chapter shall
prevail. However, wherever the regulations, restrictions, limitations, or requirements in this
chapter conflict with the City of Fairfax public facilities manual, the provisions of the City of
Fairfax public facilities manual shall prevail.
