AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-2.1, ARTICLE I,
CHAPTER 24 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA, BY INCREASING WATER CONNECTION FEES AND
AVAILABILITY CHARGES.
1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 24-2.1, Article I, Chapter 24 of the Code
of the City of Fairfax, Virginia is amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
Sec. 24-2.1 Same-Water Connection Fees, Availability and Frontage
Charges.
Water connection fees and availability and frontage charges
are hereby established as follows:

The city manager or his designee shall determine the
applicable type and the availability charge for each premise.
The availability charge for any premise which does not fall
within one of the types listed above shall be calculated at the
