19920623 1992-15ORDINANCE NO. 1992-15 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA TO ASSIGN PERMANENT ZONING TO THE PROPERTIES WHICH CAME INTO THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1992. WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 10, 1992, the City Council adopted an ordinance pertaining to the temporary application of the City's zoning regulations to properties coming into the territorial jurisdiction of the City which required that by July 1, 1992, the temporary designations shall be affirmed or different designations assigned to such territory; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed rezoning is proper and in accordance with the pertinent provisions set forth in the Code of Virginia and the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the property identified as City of Fairfax Tax Map Parcels: 47-3-((7))-14 through 32, 33A, 33B, 34 through 37, 69 through 85, 87 through 99, 115 through 119; and 47-4-((3))-1,2,4 through 13, 40 through 43, 44A, 45A, 46 through 51, 53, 54, 55; and 47-4-((18))-A, 1,2,3; and more particularly described as: "Beginning at a point in the westerly right-of-way of ROUTE #123 said point also being in the line between FAIRFAX ACRES, SECTION FOUR AND COBBDALE SUBDIVISION; Thence, departing the westerly right-of-way of ROUTE #123 and running with the line between FAIRFAX ACRES, SECTION FOUR and COBBDALE SUBDIVISION, N70° 43' 38"W, 3,769.42 feet to a point in the southerly fight-of-way in INTERSTATE ROUTE #66; Thence, running with the southerly right-of-way of INTERSTATE #66 and to STATE ROUTE #123 the following courses and distances, N79° 24' 11"E, 695.03 feet; with the arc of a curve to the right 785.56 feet, said curve having a radius of 4,431.68 feet and a chord bearing of N84° 28' 52"E and a chord of 784.53 feet; S87° 08'23"E, 145.76 feet; S15° 03' 36"E, 67.84 feet; S73° 21'16"E, 59.63 feet; N63° 43' 19"E, 161.68 feet; with the arc of a curve to the right 360.10 feet, said curve having a radius of 4,425.68 feet and a chord bearing of S83° 22' 37"E and a chord of 360.00 feet; with the arc of a curve to the right 952.62 feet, said curve having a radius of 1,518.69 feet and a chord bearing of S63° 04' 35"E and a chord of 937.08 feet; S45° 06' 24"E, 187.57 feet; with the arc of a curve to the right 941.01 feet, said curve having a radius of 1,400.93 feet and a chord bearing of S25° 51' 50"E and a chord of 923.42 feet to the point of beginning and containing 49.89154 Acres.
