AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, TO PROVIDE
FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE 1975 EDITIONS OF THE
BOCA BASIC BUILDING CODE AND ONE AND TWO
FAMILY DWELLING CODE BY REFERENCE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that Section 5-1 of Chapter 5 of the Code of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and it hereby is amended by deleting
the titles "BOCA Basic Building Code, 1970, and the One and Two
Family Dwelling Code, 1971," and substituting in their place and
stead the titles "BOCA Basic Building Code, 1975, and the One and
Two Family Dwelling Code, 1975,".
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
